My Fabletics Review

Yayyy!! I finally ordered something from Fabletics!

If you haven't heard of Fabletics, it's a website for fitness clothes by Kate Hudson.  Essentially it's a member service that provides monthly outfits and great deals on cute fitness clothing.  You can choose a pre-selected outfit for you at the beginning of each month, based on your preferences, or you can chose to pass on it.  If you decide your not in to it after you've tried it,  you can quit the service at any time.

Since I've lost weight, my current workout clothes needed a makeover so this was the perfect time to try this out.

As you can see from this picture, I'm not lying.  When I started working out, I had no idea that I would actually lose weight let alone stick with working out.  I never would have thought that my current clothes, that were being stretched to max capacity, would end up being loose on me.

This is a snippet from a video (I can't find the picture of it) of me sitting down.  You can really see the bagginess in the leggings.  Standing was bad too, you could see they were loose on me.  Most of my workout clothes, if not all, came from Wal-Mart. They're cheap, affordable and pretty cute.

I finally decided it was time to start slowly buying new workout clothes.  My friend Stephanie convinced me to try a brand that I will only call LuLu something ;) I mean, I fell in love with it.

After trying, loving, and buying one pair of these amazing LuLu something leggings that I like to call, "Butter on my legs"; trying other brands, (including my Wal-Mart favorites) failed in comparison.  I did end up finding a couple different pairs of leggings at Macy's.  Calvin Klein ended up being one of my other new favorites.

I am wearing my workout clothes 85% of the week; I wake up, get dressed and after getting the kids off to school I go to the gym and start my day.  Since I'm already up and moving it makes sense to stay in these clothes while I get things done.  So unless I have something planned later on in the day that doesn't consist of me being in workout clothes, I'll be in my workout clothes.  (plus hubby is gone so I don't need to look like a supermodel when he gets home from work ;) )

I'm sure you have seen the ads on Facebook, TV and even Instagram.  I have wanted to try Fabletics a few different times but never did.  Now that my workout clothes are literally too big for me, I decided to go ahead and try it.

They had a few really good deals going on so I ended up getting a cute pair of leggings with a matching sports bra.  Since my array of tops is very limited, I ordered one that was on sale to match the set I decided to go with.

My order finally came and I must admit, I was a little sad with the packaging.

Inside, there was my order, a coupon code for Hello Fresh and a little booklet welcoming me to Fabletics and explaining to me how it works.

I was super excited to try on the outfit.  The material felt really good so I was pretty pleased about it.

First things first, every sports bras that I have tried on has been a size large.  Not to say that I'm big ;) but I'm bigger on top than I am on bottom.  I have a wide back.  Anyway, I ordered a size large sports bra and medium shirt, because I'm a solid medium these days ;) And a medium in the pants.

First thing I noticed right away was that the bra was too big.  You can see it here.

After trying the tank on, I was happy that it was a loose fit.  It was just what I wanted but it was big under the armpit.  I had to keep it because it turns out it was a Final Sale.  I didn't even notice that when I purchased it so I was a little disappointed that it wasn't obvious when I added it to my cart.  If I was able to I would have returned it because a size small would not have fit me the way I wanted it to.  I'm keeping it because I have to and because my mom is an amazing seamstress and she can make it work for me!

The outfit is cute!  I really like it.  I can't say I'm in love with it only because of the miss sized bra and tank.

The pants fit good.  They have a high waste so it tucks in all the jiggles.  My only complaint is that I need to lose some in the midsection so that the pants lay right where they are supposed to.  That's what I am working on now!  If I went up a size in the leggings to have a more comfortable waist area, they would definitely be too big.  Medium is my size!

I decided to go ahead and exchange the bra because I really like this outfit and it's different from anything I currently have.  The return process is pretty easy.  You just go in to your account, select the order number, select the item and fill out what it is you want to return or exchange.

As I was folding up the leggings to put away, I noticed a hole.   By the time I realized there was a hole in them, it was too late for me to add to my return.  I guess you can't change your mind on another item once you've submitted it so I had to call customer service.  The call was fairly easy but a little frustrating because there was a bit of miscommunication between the operator and I.  In the end I was able to get both items exchanged.  Now the waiting process to get the new items in my hands begins.

They have sales all the time.  Most recently, $25 outfits!  I may or may not have one on the way.

Now having tried Fabletics, I have to say the quality is really great.  I've tried on a lot, I mean A LOT of workout gear in the past three months and I have to say these leggings rank pretty high on my list for fit and cost.

If you'd like to try Fabletics, here is a CODE you can use that will help me out and get you 2/$24 leggings.  Then you'll get your own code and be able to share with your friends.

Have you tried Fabletics?  If you have please let me know what your thoughts are.  And if you haven't let me know if you do.
